Strathallen Stout

We used the finest Canadian flaked barley and Pale Ale malt with European caramel malts and roasted barley to make a rich, dark beer with a creamy texture and a smooth finish.  Brewers have traditionally used flaked barley in their stouts to add creaminess and mouth feel.  The addition of roasted barley gives the stout its black color and distinct coffee-like flavor.  The blending of the roasted barley and caramel malt creates hints of toffee, molasses and dark chocolate that make this style of beer truly unique.  These complex, full-bodied beers are satisfying on their own, but really come alive when paired with food.  They are great with aged cheeses, grilled meats and even rich desserts.

Brewed with Pale Ale and CaraMunich malts, Roasted Barley and Flaked Barley.  Hopped with Columbus hops.

Alcohol: Approx. 5% by vol.
